Make my First Video Ad, a Step-By-Step guide

https://fultonfilmcompany.com/

------------------------

Your First Video Ad, Step-By-Step

Step 1: Set Goals

You can’t get where you want to go if you don’t know the destination. Rather than set your goal as revenue alone, get specific on what immediate action you want your audience to take, and just as importantly, how you want them to feel about your brand. It is with these smaller steps that you will see your business grow and customers returning to you.
Pinpoint the goal(s) of your video ad to guide your decision-making in all the steps that follow. Here are examples of clear goals when creating each video:
  • Excite visitors to view my website
  • Promote a special sale
  • Ask a question that elicits social engagement
  • Attract readers by promoting original blog content
  • Tell the story of my business to build brand loyalty

Step 2: Decide on your message

The most effective ads convey a clear, strong message, and do so very quickly. While you may have a lot of important things to say to your audience, focus on just one message at a time, and save other points for your next video. Your message should always speak to your customer’s viewpoint. Remember, it’s not about telling your audience how awesome your business is, it’s about how awesome you can make them!
Questions to ask yourself as you prepare the video concept:
    • Why should my audience care about what I am telling them?
    • What is most unique about my brand that the customer won’t find elsewhere?
    • Is my message about my business, or is my message about the customer’s experience?

Step 3: Bring your message to life

Now for the fun part! Start by choosing from our video stock so that your video will be uniquely yours. Then write the text that will accompany each frame. Text should be brief and to the point, conveying your message clearly and compellingly.
  • What tone will best convey my message to the audience? Humorous? Empathetic? Nostalgic? Cautionary? Keep the tone consistent throughout when choosing footage, text and music.
  • Does the footage match the emotion that I want my message to evoke?
  • Is the visual experience interesting and eye-catching?
  • Is my language clear and understandable?

Step 4: Put it all together

Video is so effective because it combines footage, text and sound to give your audience a multi-sensory experience. You will want to consider each of these aspects and how they work together as a whole.
  • Does the opening of my video ad hook the viewer quickly? A strong start is crucial to get people watching.
  • Are all the elements brought together smoothly? Do the visuals, text and music enhance the message or detract from it? Preview the ad through the customer’s eyes.
  • Most videos are played without sound, so make sure your ad works equally well with and without music.

Step 5: Clarify a Call to Action

Once you have conveyed your message to your viewers, you must give them the next step. Tell them exactly what it is you want them to do, whether it is to go somewhere for more information, fill out a form, sign up for a promotion or order your product. Generally speaking, the call to action (also known as CTA) appears at the end of the video. To take a deeper dive into creating CTAs for your video.

Step 6: Promote Your Video Ad

You did it! Now you’re ready to debut your first video ad to the world. Make sure to cover all your marketing bases with a distribution strategy that hits every major channel.
Here’s a list of places to share video content with your audience:
Social Networks. Of course, you’ll want to post on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram but also consider LinkedIn and SlideShare for B2B exposure.
Your website, blog and campaign landing pages. Videos on your site can help increase conversion by 80%, and Google boosts search results for pages where users are spending more time (in this case, watching a video keeps them on your page longer). Make it easy for viewers to share your video by adding share buttons where applicable.
Your YouTube channel. YouTube is the second largest search engine on the web behind Google, and can be leveraged to drive viewers back to your website or social media pages.
Your email list. Just adding the word “video” in an email subject line boosts open rates by 19%, click-through rates by 65% and reduces unsubscribers by 26%.
Your email signature. Even after you’ve sent an email campaign that showcases your video, you can still continue to link it in your signature for additional views, or for customers who come along later.
Online communities. Many industries or interest groups create their own online communities, whether on Twitter chat, a Facebook group, Reddit, or another forum. For best results, make sure you are already active in these communities and not just there to advertise, and that you are sharing content that is relevant to the group.

Step 7: Make more video

You didn’t think it was over, did you? After conducting a recent user review we found that the most successful marketing efforts include publishing 1-2 videos per week. That means that you have many more opportunities to play with new footage and showcase new elements of your business online.

Honoring Military Veterans in the Central Valley

Honoring Military Veterans in the Central Valley

Thank You For Your Service

The best way a person can say, “Thank you for your service” to a Veteran is by being an active member in building their local community. A Veteran would love to know that their sacrifice was for something. Are people using their freedom to enrich a life of another person? You don’t need to change the world, but are you helping make things better in some way? Volunteer at the VA hospital once per month if you can. Read books at a local school to build relationships in your community. Enriching the lives of others is how you thank a Veteran for their service.

The wait is over

Forget about any other experience that you’ve had at a “Veterans Hall” before you walk into the Clovis Veterans Memorial District. You can expect to meet interesting people who are as willing to help you, as you are willing to help them. Finally, a place where all people of Clovis can honor Veterans in any way that they wish. The Clovis Veterans Memorial District is a place that you’ll find Veterans and civilians joining together to honor those who have served, by adding value to their community. Some people end a day of volunteering in silence, with a smile on their face as they spend time reflecting. Others join family members and friends to share stories of a loved one who had served. It doesn’t matter how you give honor, but you can know that there is a place for you.

You can be a part of Greatness in Clovis by helping CVMD at one of their many events. CVMD staff are a group of people who seek to understand how they can help their community honor a Veteran, the best way possible.

Success Breeds Success

Mr. Lorenzo Rios is the CEO at CVMD and he is a true visionary. The Central Valley of California is home to approximately 330,000 U.S. military Veterans, which is about double the rate of the United States. This is a huge opportunity for Fresno/Clovis innovation and business growth. Military leaders know how to get the job done, and now we have a huge talent pool to choose from, here in the Valley. We are expecting to see a spike in entrepreneurship in the military Veteran community within the next few months. Technology, Entertainment, and Business are areas of opportunity for Veterans to thrive in the Valley.

Mr. Rios and his team at CVMD created and held the 1st Annual Patriots Dinner to honor and celebrate those students who have taken the oath of service to our country. They celebrated 46 students from Clovis Unified School District who are joining the Army, Marines, Navy, and Air Force and 3 of their own staff members who are joining the Marines and Navy. Events like this are only possible when Leaders try new things. Students and their families, as well as community leaders made it a night to remember.

Visionaries

Who they were yesterday is not who they will be tomorrow. Clovis Veterans Memorial District is proud to support the local schools robotics programs. The CVMD is always looking for ways to improve the experience of honoring our Veterans and their families. It takes a certain type of person that “Dares to Dream” and CVMD has it! Teamwork makes the dream work, that is the attitude a person will feel when visiting CVMD. This team is committed to making your Veteran honoring experience as seamless as possible. They have an understanding of community needs and building future opportunities for our following generations.

Mr. Lorenzo Rios is here to lead the way

Former U.S. Army Colonel and a leader with true GRIT is at the head of the Clovis Veterans Memorial District! Attitude is altitude and you can expect something along the lines of, “It’s not me, it’s us.” Mr. Rios is a man with a real passion for student and community success. He will definitely exercise his innovative strategic thinking and creative problem solving as the head of CVMD. Mr. Lorenzo Rios has a career which reflects success in developing innovative programs that improve productivity, morale and safety. It’s also important to mention his experience with collaborative international networks, academia, consulting and leadership development.

We are the solution

Veterans can lead the next generation of America, starting with Clovis businesses and youth. Anyone who served in the military knows about rank structure and leadership. We can use our former skills and training to build a Greater future in our local communities. We are here to set the example of how to celebrate the things that are Great about America. Let’s focus on the positive things that we have the ability to change. Collaboration is the key to success when it comes to bridging the civilian and Veteran divide. Contact the Clovis Veterans Memorial District to see how you can join their movement.

Very respectfully,

George Ohan

Clovis’ Freedom Fest Is Back On –
With Help From Veterans Memorial District

Related Article: Reference, KMJ Now - www.kmjnow.com

CLOVIS (KMJ) — The 4th of July Clovis Freedom Fest will take place this year – and that assurance comes from the CEO of the Clovis Veterans Memorial District.
“I can’t stress enough, there is no way while I’m here and these local veterans are here, are we going to have a 4th of July that is not celebrated in Clovis,” states Lorenzo Rios.
Organizer Clovis Kiwanis Club announced in April that the event had been canceled due to a lack of funds. But Rios says the Clovis Veterans Memorial District is going to do its part to make sure the event takes place.
“It’s too important to the community to not have this take place. The Veterans Memorial District, in partnership with the City of Clovis, Clovis Unified School District, and the veterans organizations and service clubs: we’re all going to come together and we are going to have a Freedom Fest this year.”
The plan is to coordinate community organizations willing to participate, both as financial sponsors and hosts, with Clovis Veterans Memorial District organizing a committee to manage all those involved.
“This is the greatest show on earth, and at a time when you see so many things around us our community needs to come out and celebrate what’s right in our community.
“Community and people partnering together is something thing worth celebrating and the 4th of July is one day that we will celebrate in Clovis.”
He adds that the District’s contacts with veterans and other community service organizations, puts it in a unique position of being able to help restore the Freedom Fest.
“By the end of the month we would like to raise at least $15,000. If we can get that kind of support by the end of the month I think it’ll put us in a better shape.
“But unequivocally I can say that we will be holding a Freedom Fest this year.”
If the money isn’t raised in time, Rios says he’ll be putting forward the cash himself.
“In absence of the District not being able to fork over the money, my family will make sure that this takes place.”
Officials reveal that that basic format of the event will remain the same as in previous years, and it will take place at 9pm July 4th inside Clovis High’s Lamonica Stadium.
Anyone who would like to help should call Clovis Veterans Memorial District on (559) 299-0471 or email specialevents@cvmdistrict.org.

How to be an entrepreneur

   SUCCEED
IN BUSINESS

Teach. Coach. Mentor.

#FultonFilmCompany

Whats your idea

Many successful entrepreneurs begin by sensing a need, then moving quickly to fill it.  This is either an entirely new product or service, or something as simple as opening the only children's clothing store in a large mall.

What does hard work mean to you?

Most entrepreneurs work long, hard hours.  They focus on their real priorities, especially when times are tough.  (Those who avoid the tough problems by burying themselves in their original area of expertise often fail.)

Focus

It's not just how hard you work, but the way you work that counts.  Successful owners/managers resist the temptation to do what comes easiest.  Instead they do what is most essential.

It's a team sport

Typical entrepreneurs have a strong drive toward independence, plus the ability to be a good team player when the need for cooperation arises.

Trust process may be slow

Entrepreneurs must be extremely self-confident to accept the risks involved in starting a business.  This helps them overcome enormous obstacles to achieve their goals.  In addition, they can temper their self-confidence with objectivity and change course and cut losses where necessary.

Change is constant

Successful entrepreneurs adjust to the changing demands of a growing business and develop the skills to deal with them.  they become managers of other people's work so their business can grow quickly and achieve spectacular success.

Make the right choice

Entrepreneurs make wise decisions without taking too much time to make up their minds.  When they lack the knowledge to make sound decisions on their own, they seek information and advice without hesitation.

Thrive in stressful environments

Entrepreneurs face many crises on the road to prosperity.  To survive, they often unwind with sports and hobbies.  Many are encouraged by the understanding of their spouses and families.

Do you want to win?

Successful entrepreneurs have a single-minded, almost compulsive desire to succeed.  Although financial rewards are important, they are often secondary in the drive towards personal achievement.

Be about your money

Running a business brings many rewards--independence, community prestige, personal satisfaction--but entrepreneurs never lose sight of the need to make a profit.  They know that return on investment is the ultimate measure of success.

Be honest about who you are

Almost ALL entrepreneurs start with some weaknesses.  Those who succeed recognize their limitation and are always ready to seek and use outside help when the situation demands it.

NOTE: You must acknowledge and deal with self-limiting beliefs you may harbor.  They can cripple your efforts to achieve success and must be eliminated through positive self-programming and reinforcement.
