International actor from Brazil seeks Producers from Asia

Actor seeks to make connections with filmmakers from 51 different countries of Asia! Read below.

http://www.asianworldfilmfest.org/

As an international, non-union actor born in the U.S. but now residing in Brazil, who started his career in the U.S. in 2006, I have, though rather limited, first-hand knowledge of the film world outside of Hollywood.

I have lived in South Korea, as well, and, though that was before I became an actor, I truly appreciate the real and honest perspective that life outside of the u.S., both in South Korea and here in Brazil, has afforded me.

The Asian World Film Festival (http://www.asianworldfilmfest.org/) is an event that can offer anyone who has not been afforded the privilege of living outside of the U.S. for any length of time an opportunity to broaden his or her horizons and see the world from a more complete, educated and informed perspective. To quote the founder of the festival, ″I created the Asian World Film Festival to fill a void that I noticed was missing in America.

There is a wealth of underrated filmmakers from our region that deserve recognition and this festival was designed to champion and promote them,″ festival chairman and creator Sadyk Sher-Niyaz said.

I can attest to this from my personal experience with filmmakers here in Brazil. From the formidable directing duo of 300ml who have created the international feature film entitled SOUNDTRACK, to the national feature film entitled 10 SEGUNDOS by the fantastic director Zé Alvarenga, to creative directors such as Guto Aeraphe, Claudio Costa Val and Adriano Gilberti, all of whom I have had (and I very much hope to have again) the privilege of working with personally, there is a vast wealth of real talent and potential talent here as well as in so many other areas of the world that is very easily and too often overlooked for a myriad of reasons.
